Check-in report-
Before a Tenant moves in, the report records the internal condition of the property and creates an inventory of items within the property.
Check-out Report-
As check-in report but done at the end of the tenancy. This is important to do, as most ‘Tenant deposit schemes,’ will release the deposit to the tenant within two weeks of tenancy ending. The Landlord must put an application, if needed, for reimbursements in quickly, supported by evidence. This is where the independent report increases the chance of successful challenge.
